Captain Morgan Sliced Apple
Spiced rum with juicy apple slices and ginger, at 25% ABV. Fresh, light, and still spicy: delicious as a shot from the freezer, with ginger ale in a tall glass, or warm on a cold evening.

Spiced rum with apple
Captain Morgan Sliced Apple combines spiced rum with juicy apple slices and ginger. The result is a fresh, balanced, spiced rum that is lighter than the well-known Spiced Gold. While Spiced Gold is sweet and vanilla-like, the apple gives this variant a fresh side and the ginger adds a spicy edge.
At 25% alcohol, Sliced Apple falls into the same light category as Captain Morgan Tiki. It is intended to be enjoyed both neat and mixed. Here, neat mainly means ice-cold, as a shot. When mixed, choose a soft drink that enhances the apple and ginger, such as ginger ale or tonic.
In brief
Fresh, apple-forward, and slightly spicy
Juicy apple
A fresh aroma of apple, underpinned by the warm spices of the spiced rum.
Light and fruity
Light on the palate, with apple up front. The 25% alcohol makes it smooth enough to drink neat.
Ginger
A short finish in which the ginger tingles slightly and keeps the apple fresh.
Flavor profile of Sliced Apple served ice-cold. With ginger ale, the ginger comes through more strongly.
Three ways to drink Sliced Apple
Sliced Apple can be enjoyed neat or mixed. Chilled, it is refreshing; warm, the spices come forward.
Ice-cold shot
Place the bottle in the freezer for a few hours and pour 2 cl into a chilled shot glass. The cold makes the apple fresh and the ginger sharp.
