Lehmann Eaux de vie

The tapered bowl directs alcohol vapors toward the nose, leaving pure aromas. Compare with the grappa glasses and cognac glasses. Lehmann has been the specialist in tasting glasses since the 1990s - this glass embodies that expertise. Distilleries and tasting rooms also enjoy working with this model. View the tasting glasses collection. Eau de vie - "water of life" - is the poetic name for fruit brandy, and this glass is its interpreter: the tapered bowl captures the pure fruit aromas of cherry, pear, or mirabelle plum and lets the alcohol pass through. What would be harsh in a shot glass becomes perfume here. For lovers of pure distillate, there is no more honest glass.

De Eaux de Vie covers the full spectrum of clear and fruit-based spirits: calvados after dinner, grappa with espresso, an aged mirabelle from Alsace. Combine with the grappa glasses and cognac glasses for the complete digestif arsenal - this Reims crystal holds its own in any company. Distillers and tasting rooms use this type of glass because it hides nothing - at home, that means tasting what the distiller intended. Pour small, take your time, and the water of life reveals its origins. Supplied in sets of six, packaged breakage-proof: the tasting can begin as soon as the box is opened.

For lovers of calvados or grappa, a set of eaux-de-vie with a good bottle is a gift that is rarely given and always appreciated: refined, specialized, and immediately ready to enjoy. The quiet connoisseur recognizes the thoughtfulness at once - this glass understands their ritual.
